Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly now one of Manchester United's primary transfer targets.
Pogba
left United on a free transfer in summer 2012, signing for Juve after
rejecting a new contract with the Red Devils, and has impressed in Serie
 A since leaving England.
His performances have
led to reports suggesting Arsenal are keen on signing him, while
Chelsea have also been linked with the 20-year-old in recent weeks.
Earlier this year, the Daily Express reported
that United boss David Moyes is keen on luring the France international
back to Old Trafford at the end of the season, and according to Tuttomercatoweb, the youngster has now emerged as one of Moyes' top summer transfer targets.
Paris
Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also been linked with Pogba, but
according to the report in Italy, the two European giants will struggle
to beat United in the race to sign the player should he look to leave
Italy when the transfer window reopens.
Moyes
is looking to strengthen his midfield this summer as part of a major
spending spree, and has also been linked with Sporting Lisbon
midfielder William Carvalho, who has admitted he could move to Manchester, and Bayern Munich's Tony Kroos.
United
defender Patrice Evra recently welcomed the club's reported big-money
attempts in trying to bring Pogba back to Manchester for a second spell.
"Pogba's talent on the pitch, his aggression, his presence, is very rare," the left-back said.
"He quickly earned the respect of players here like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes."
