Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho has admitted he could make a big-money move to Manchester United this summer.
United
boss David Moyes is looking to strengthen his midfield this summer as
part of a major spending spree, and last month it was reported that the
Scot had instructed scouts to watch Carvalho on several occasions this
season.
The 21-year-old, who has also been
linked with Chelsea and Real Madrid, is understood to have a
£37.5million buy-out clause in his contract.
Speaking
after Sporting's 2-1 win over Braga, Carvalho told reporters: "It's
nice being praised and to know there are some big clubs interested in
me."
When asked about his future, he added: "It could be Manchester United or Real Madrid.
"It's
just nice to have a great European club after me, but at the moment I'm
just totally focused on Sporting and doing my best until the end of the
season.
"At the end of the campaign, we will see what happens."
Carvalho, a Portugal international, is under contract with Sporting until 2018.
