Bayern Munich sporting
director Matthias Sammer insists the club will not sell Toni Kroos, who
continues to be linked with Manchester United, before the midfielder's
contract expires.
Kroos had last month
alerted United by refusing to rule out a move away from Bayern, and
United boss David Moyes was in Germany recently to watch the 24-year-old
in action for the Bundesliga giants and is understood to have met one
of the Germany international's representatives.
Kroos
is out of contract at the end of next season, and although the player
has publicly refused to commit his future to Pep Guardiola’s side,
Sammer has ruled out a summer move.
"We won't sell Toni before his contract ends," he told Suddeutsche Zeitung.
"It counts what Uli Hoeness said: Bayern is a buyer, not a selling club.
"We all want him to extend with us, there is no doubt about that.
"It’s not an easy case. At the moment we can't say our chances are 80-20 or 70-30."
