The United midfielder is set to leave for the Serie A side after negotiations between the two clubs.
Manchester United midfielder Anderson is on the verge of joining Fiorentina.
Fiorentina director Daniele Prade confirmed on Monday that the two clubs were in negotiations over the midfielder and manager Vincenzo Montella outlined Anderson as exactly the player they were looking for.
“He is certainly a very good midfielder," he said.
"I prefer to seek experienced players at this point, seeing as we have promising youngsters in the squad already.”
Talks between the parties have gone well and while there has been no official confirmation from the club that the player has moved, M.E.N Sport understands that a deal should be announced shortly.
The move would bring an end to Anderson's six-and-a-half years at Old Trafford. He signed from Porto in June 2007 for £20m.
